Shiatsu is a Far Eastern healing art that has been proven over centuries and combines with Western elements from physiotherapy, massage and psychology.
Translated in Japanese, Shiatsu means “finger or thumb pressure”.
This describes the special technique of acupressure that is used in a Shiatsu treatment.
Shiatsu touches with fingertips, palms, elbows, knees and/or feet. Sometimes gentle, sometimes strong and always attentive.
Shiatsu is a holistic body work and includes:
- Acupressure
- Mobilization
- Stretching
- Self-healing powers are stimulated
- Releasing physical blockages
- Creates balance and inner satisfaction
A Shiatsu treatment is always individually tailored to your needs. (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual)
